PetroleumETC Frac School in Pittsburg

Pittsburgh, PA, March 2 - After a successful event in Houston, PetroleumETC would like to announce their next Frac School, to be held in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

Frac School is a state-of-the-art week-long course on hydraulic fracturing. This course will discuss topics related to the fundamentals in rock mechanics and fracture design, methods of identifying fracturing candidates, predicting after-frac well performance and many more. The course is ideal for reservoir, production, and operations engineers that are involved with hydraulic fracturing on a routine basis and is taught by a variety of professors and experts in the fracturing industry. This presents a valuable opportunity for petroleum professionals to learn from experts in the field.

PetroleumETC is pleased to be working with a number of very talented instructors for this course. Dr. Jerry Jensen (University of Calgary), Dr. Peter Valko (Texas A&M University), John Ely (Ely & Associates), and Mike McCoy (consultant) will all be instructing lessons within their own specialties.

Frac School will be held in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania from May 17-21 and will be followed by another Frac course held again in Houston in October.
