PetroleumETC Introduces Essentials of Geostatistics
Houston, TX, March 3 - PetroleumETC would like to announce their newest training course, the Essentials of Geostatistics, to be held in Houston, Texas.
The Essentials of Geostatistics is taught by Dr. Jerry Jensen of the University of Calgary and strives to show the students how statistics can enhance data analysis and characerization procedures. The importance of geology is emphasized through all the phases for the students' benefit. Some of the topics covered will be how statistics and geology effectively work together, net pay decisions using probability, and estimating reservoir permeability among other related topics. This course is particularly beneficial to geoscientists and petrophysicists with at least two years experience in petrophysicsor formation evaluation. PetroleumETC is pleased to team up with Dr. Jerry Jensen, a highly esteemed professor, who holds the Schulich Chair in Geostatistics at the University of Calgary.
