As of today, there are 4069 supplier companies registered in the framework of creating the electronic trading system for procurement of material and technical resources for TATNEFT Company enterprises.
The Department of Logistics carried out 86 procurement procedures in January 2012. 1496 two-stage procurement procedures were carried out in 2011 totaling $ 6,803 million rubles. The first stage was a request for quotations, while the second stage was an auction for a price lowering among the participants, who priced the whole lot. 761 successful auctions for the amount $ 2,490.3 million rubles were held in the past year with additional savings in the amount of 93,350,000 rubles on the price determined in the first stage.
In order to develop the electronic trading platform (ETP) third-party companies using the ETP for arranging procurement of equipment and materials are involved. The management companies and subsidiaries of TATNEFT carried out 603 procurement procedures for the amount of 2,082.34 million rubles during 12 months of 2011. Trading operations for independent oil companies resulted in the amount of 250.93 million rubles.
The mechanism of E-trading implemented at OAO TATNEFT has become an operational tool that provides for the effectiveness of procurement procedures and tenders allowing to expand the suppliers pool. The electronic trading platform has significantly accelerated the tenders, provided the price transparency. All trading operations are carried out in on-line mode.
