The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Yury Boiko, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister.
The parties discussed ongoing preparation works for the upcoming autumn/winter period. In particular, a focus was placed on Gazprom’s uninterrupted gas transit to Europe by Naftogaz Ukrainy. Accordingly, the meeting participants reviewed the progress with gas injection into Ukraine’s UGS facilities by Naftogaz Ukrainy.

The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Yury Boiko, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister.
The parties discussed gas injection into the Ukrainian UGS facilities by Naftogaz Ukraine. The meeting was focused on the current gas injection rates at the UGS facilities. It was stressed that the key element for Naftogaz Ukraine to successfully meet its transit obligations during the upcoming autumn/winter period resided in providing the required gas volumes for the Ukrainian UGS facilities.
Alexey Miller and Yury Boiko also addressed prospects for the Russian-Ukrainian cooperation in the gas sector.
