David Wood is an international energy consultant specializing in the integration of technical, economic, risk and strategic information to aid portfolio evaluation and management decisions. He holds a PhD from Imperial College, London. Research and training concerning a wide range of energy related topics, including project contracts, economics, gas, portfolio and risk analysis are key parts of his work. Saeid Mokhatab is an internationally recognized expert in the field of natural gas engineering with a particular emphasis on raw gas transmission and processing. He has been involved as a technical consultant in several international gas-engineering projects and published over 150 academic and industry oriented papers on related topics as well as the Elsevier’s Handbook of Natural Gas Transmission & Processing, which has been well received by the industry and academia. He is the Founding Editor of the Elsevier’s Journal of Natural Gas Science & Engineering as well as a member of the editorial advisory board for most of prestigious journals in the related fields. He served on various SPE and ASME technical committees/conferences worldwide and received a number of international awards, including the Albert Einstein Gold Medal of Honor by the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences for "outstanding contributions in the field of natural gas sciences". He is on the International Advisory Board of a number of petroleum/energy consulting firms around the world.

Stuart L. Scott is an Associate Professor in the Harold Vance
Department of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University. He leads
research efforts in the area of multiphase production systems as well
as the annual Multiphase Pump User Roundtable (MPUR) which he founded
in 1999. Before joining Texas A&M he was an Assistant Professor at
Louisiana State University and he worked nine years for Phillips
Petroleum Company. An active member of the Society of Petroleum
Engineers (SPE), Scott has served as Chair of the Panhandle Section
and the 1992 SPE Forum on Multiphase Flow, Pumping and Separation
Technology. He has twice served as Chair of the SPE Production
Operations Technical Committee. In 2000, he was selected as the
Production Committee Chairman for the ASME Petroleum Division and
Chaired the 2001 & 2002 ASME Production Technology Symposiums. Scott
and was awarded the ASME Henry R. Worthington Medal in 2003 for his
work in the area of multiphase pumping and in 2004 was awarded the
Dorothy & Ray Galvin '53 Faculty Fellowship for his contributions to
the Texas A&M Engineering Program. Scott holds B.S. and Ph.D. degrees
in Petroleum Engineering and a M.S. degree in Computer Science all
from The University of Tulsa. |
