SPSE is a major pipeline operator in France. SPSE owns and operates 2 crude oil pipelines (24" and 40") as well as a tankfarm in south of France. Within it's activities SPSE developed consistent knowledge in sampling and flowmetering.
It has got a 30 years experience in dynamic measurement and created a Flow Laboratory for flow meter calibrations in the late seventies. This laboratory has got a COFRAC agreement since 1998. |

SPSE's flow laboratory works for all the major flowmeter manufacturers. European as well as American.
We are also calibration service providers for other pipeline operators and for refinery/production sites in Europe and north and South America and for production sites in Africa. |
| Service Offering |
SPSE flow laboratory is based is the South of France.It allows calibration within the flowranges of 150m3/h up to 3000m3/h by comparison with a prover loop, and 3000m3/h up to 4000m3/h by comparison with master meters.
The usual available viscosities span is 0,6cSt up to 120cSt. Higher viscosities are available on request and require a specific organization.
The calibration is summarized on a test report or on a COFRAC certificate that gives an international recognition of the results by metrology authorities. |
