Welltec® is globally recognized as the leading provider of precision robotics for conveyance services and interventions in vertical, horizontal and deviated oil and gas wells. Services are performed around the world in offshore and onshore wells including in hostile environment such as deepwater, subsea, Arctic conditions, extended reach wells, heavy oil and unconventional gas environments. Welltec® provides services across the evaluation, drilling & completion and intervention phases.

Initially, the backbone of the company was the Well Tractor® that represented a paradigm shift within operators’ well intervention programs when it was introduced. The Well Tractor® offers a conveyance and deployment solution covering drilling, well maintenance and product optimization to actively pursue sustained oil production. Welltec® also provides a Coiled Tubing Well Tractor® to extend the reach of coiled tubing in horizontal wells.

Motivated by constant change, Welltec® moved into mechanical downhole services in 2002 and is introducing a series of Well Completion Products. All Welltec’s equipment ensures optimization of the intervention technique chosen while providing a value-creating solution to protect the total investment in the well.
