8th International Conference “Arctic Shelf Development: Step by Step” 16th-17th of November 2015, Murmansk

Association of arctic projects contractors “Murmanshelf” invites you to participate in the 8th International Conference “Arctic Shelf Development: step by step” which will be held on the 16th-17th of November 2015 in Murmansk,Russia. The conference is supported by the Government of the Murmansk region in the framework of the IV Murmansk International Business Week.

Program of the conference includes plenary sessions, discussions at the round tables and business meetings.

Program of the conference contains such issues as current condition, problems and prospects of oil and gas development on the Arctic shelf, implementation of governmental programs of geologic exploration in the Arctic, technological support of the offshore oil and gas projects, ecological and industrial safety during development of hydrocarbon resources on the continental shelf, international cooperation in the field of oil spill response in the Arctic, improvement of regulatory and legal framework of oil and gas development of continental shelf.

Representatives from such companies as Rosneft, Gazpromneft-Sakhalin,  Statoil, Gecon, KPMG, Pepelyaev Group, Technoros, Ecostroyproject, IS-systems, GAC, Blik and etc. have already confirmed their participation.

In addition Association of contractors “Murmanshelf” will organize the round table discussion “Localization and import substitution projects in the Arctic” which will be held on the 18th of November 2015. The following companies and organizations will participate at the round table: Orica Mining Services, NOVATEK, Kola Shipyard, North-Western Phosphorous Company, SGK-Arkmineral, Vnesheconombank, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the RF, Ministry of Industry Development and Enterpreneurship of the Murmansk region and etc.
