90 Countries Support EU-US Initiative to Reduce Methane Emissions by 30%
More than 90 countries have agreed to a global EU-US initiative to reduce methane emissions by 30% by 2030. These included 15 of the 30 countries with the highest emissions.

So, the oil and gas industry should reduce emissions by about 75%, individual states will develop their own measures. The EPA is preparing a voluntary program to capture up to 70% of methane emissions from landfills.
