A New Chief IT Officer of Tatneft has been Appointed
Evgeny Zvezdin previously headed the company’s department for the development of the production system.
Evgeny Zvezdin has been appointed Deputy General Director of PJSC TATNEFT for Digital Development. Since 2016, he headed the Tatneft production system development department, Devon news agency learned from a company message.
Evgeniy Zvezdin will oversee planning and performance management of IT processes; development and implementation of modern IT solutions. His competence includes the development of information technology and service support for projects, ensuring the information security of Tatneft and other areas.
“Tatneft has built an integrated system of digital development with a single center of competence,” Zvezdin commented on his appointment. – My predecessor Vitaly Kashafovich Gataullin did a lot of work. A strong professional team has been selected. Together we will continue to improve the efficiency of business processes. I will do everything in my power for the overall success of the company and active development.”
Evgeny Yurievich Zvezdin was born in 1980. In 2004 he graduated from the Almetyevsk Oil Institute (AGNI) with a degree in Development and Operation of Oil and Gas Fields, and in 2012 from Kazan Federal University (KFU) with a degree in Finance and Credit.
Zvezdin began his career in 2004 as a well test operator at the underground well workover shop at NGDU Yamashneft. In 2004-2007 was a geologist of the reservoir pressure maintenance shop of the same oil and gas production department. Then he rose to the head of the economic department of Yamashneft. In 2015-2016 Evgeny Zvezdin led the project office for the development of the Tatneft production system.
The position of Tatneft Deputy General Director for Digital Development, as Devon reported, appeared in 2019. It was taken by Vitaly Gataullin, who joined the company in 2014 as an adviser to the CEO on organizational development.
