  • A New Drilling Speed Record Has Been Set at the Northern Asset Site of Belorusneft

A new record for well drilling speed has been set at the northern asset site of Belorusneft’s oil company Yangpur, according to a report from BELTA citing Belorusneft.

In May and June, teams from Yangpur, the Well Construction Management Center of NGDU Rechitsaneft, Belorusneft-Siberia, and the BN-Nefteservice branch completed the construction of Well No. 732 at Cluster Pad 21 of the Rozhdestvenskoye Field.

Thanks to coordinated teamwork, the well was drilled in a record-setting 29.6 days, which is 2.5 days faster than the approved schedule. “This is the best result among the projects of Yangpur Oil Company JSC,” emphasized Belorusneft.

Since 2013, Yangpur has represented Belorusneft on the Russian oil and gas production market. The company’s core activities include oil, gas, and gas condensate production, primary oil processing, and supply of hydrocarbon feedstock and processed products to enterprises in Russia and other countries.
