Abramovich’s Son’s Company Was Allowed To Commission 3 Gas Fields Of The Vostok Project
Diall Alliance LLC (controlled by Arkady Abramovich) received permission from Rosnedra to commission production facilities at three fields in the eastern part of the Bortovoy license area in the Saratov region, the regional Ministry of Industry and Energy reports.
We are talking about the objects of the Pavlovskoye field in the Dergachevsky district, as well as the Lipovskoye and Nepryakhinskoye fields in the Ozinsky region.
As part of the project to develop these fields, the Karpenskaya integrated gas treatment plant has been reconstructed and its testing is being completed. According to the company data cited by the ministry, the reconstruction affected the main units of the gas treatment plant, and a gas demercaptanization unit was also created to increase the efficiency of purifying natural gas from sulfur compounds.
The development of fields in the eastern part of the Bortovoy license area in the Saratov region with the creation of oil and gas treatment infrastructure is estimated at 13.6 billion rubles. It is expected that the implementation of the Vostok project will allow the production of more than 900 million cubic meters of natural gas per year.
As reported, the development of the mentioned fields started in mid-2023. The investment project provides for the drilling of new wells and the construction of a 200 km gas pipeline to the Karpenskaya installation.
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Diall Alliance is owned by Sigma Energy LLC, which is owned by Abramovich: 99.9% through Sigma Capital LLC, 0.01% directly. Diall Alliance came under the control of Sigma Energy in March 2022; before deoffshorization it belonged to the Cypriot Royal Atlantic Energy Limited (a subsidiary of Abramovich’s Zoltav Resources).
Diall Alliance owns the license to develop the Bortovy area, which includes nine oil and gas fields in the Volga region.
Onboard license area with an area of 3.2 thousand square meters. km is located along the northern edge of the Caspian basin – one of the largest hydrocarbon basins in the CIS, on the territory of which more than 100 licenses have been issued for geological study, exploration and production of oil and gas. The onboard section is conventionally divided into two parts: the more developed western part, where the integrated gas treatment facility is located, and the eastern part. To develop it, in October 2021, Zoltav Resources attracted two credit lines from Sberbank for a total amount of 8.4 billion rubles.
The development project provided for the phased commissioning of five new fields, including Mokrousovskoye and Zapadno-Lipovskoye.
Proven and probable reserves of the Onboard license area amount to 131.2 million barrels of oil equivalent (17.5 million tons of oil equivalent).
