Abu Dhabi National Oil Company ADNOC Has Increased the Production Capacity of the Satah Al Razboot Offshore Field by 25%
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company ADNOC has announced that its Satah Al Razboot offshore field has increased production capacity by 25%, to 140,000 b/d of oil, through the introduction of advanced digital technologies. ADNOC‘s goal is to increase production capacity to 5 million b/d of oil by 2027.
The Satah Al Razboot offshore field is located 120 kilometers northwest of Abu Dhabi, and the digital solutions implemented on it allow you to control production remotely from the island of Zirku, located 20 km away.
Remote monitoring, intelligent well operations and production management technologies are integrated in the control center for optimized real–time decision-making. Using artificial intelligence–based solutions, ADNOC accelerated the growth of the field‘s production capacity while reducing costs and emissions, while increasing safety.
AIQ DrillRep and OptiDrill technologies, which are used in the Satah Al Razboot offshore field, include tools developed by AIQ, an AI company based in Abu Dhabi.
AIQ DrillRep and OptiDrill process data from drilling rigs and wells in the field, increasing drilling efficiency and optimization. Using daily reports on drilling data and rig sensor data, AIQ technology supports drilling operations by providing the necessary information and actions to optimize the drilling process, ADNOC said in a statement.
