  • AKROS and Sakhalin Energy Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

    On September 29, within the framework of the Sakhalin Oil and Gas 2021 Far Eastern Energy Forum, AKROS and Sakhalin Energy signed a memorandum of cooperation. The signing took place in the presence of the Chief Executive Officer of Sakhalin Energy Roman Dashkov.

    The subject of the document is interaction on the development of technical competencies in the provision of drilling fluids and well completion fluids.

    Since 2018,  AKROS has  been working as a sludge re-injection service contractor for the largest strategic and technically challenging Sakhalin-2 project. AKROS became the first Russian company to start injecting drilling waste into the reservoir on the Russian shelf using the most efficient and safe iCRIs® technologies .

    “The development of Russian participation is a priority area in the activities of Sakhalin Energy. Today’s event is a vivid example of a long-term partnership between the two companies, which can bring significant benefits in improving technical competencies in the implementation of such a complex project as Sakhalin-2, ”said Timur Gafarov, Technical Director of Sakhalin Energy.

    “Thank you for the confidence in our company from Sakhalin Energy, which will ensure our effective entry into the Sakhalin-2 project. In turn, we guarantee the performance of the service at the highest level, ”stressed the General Director of AKROS Petr Ryabtsev.
