Alexander Dyukov Spoke About Gazprom Neft Oil Production in the Orenburg Region
Gazprom Neft’s oil production in the Orenburg region was not affected by flooding in the region, company head Alexander Dyukov told reporters on the sidelines of the RSPP congress. According to him, Gazprom Neft enterprises in the Orenburg region were not damaged due to the flood.
Answering the question whether the flood in Orenburg affected the company’s work and production volumes in the region, Dyukov said:
“No, the situation did not affect the company’s production in the region; our assets are located outside the flood zones.”
He added that the company provides organizational, technical and financial assistance to the region in combating the consequences of the flood. In particular, Gazpromneft – Orenburg promptly sent special equipment and an emergency rescue team to evacuate residents from flooded areas.
In Orsk on April 5, the dam that protected the city from the Ural River broke. A mass evacuation of people began from the Old City, where several villages are located that fell into the flood zone. They were able to fill the dam only on April 11, and the water began to flow out of populated areas. In the Orenburg region there is a federal level emergency regime.
