  • Alexander Dyukov: The Peak of Technological Dependence in Prey is Passed

The point of the highest dependence of the companies in the Russian Federation on Western technologies for the extraction of hydrocarbons has been passed, said the head of Gazprom Neft, Alexander Dyukov.

According to him, in the next three years it will be possible to achieve complete technological independence, writes Oilcapital.ru.

Dyukov believes that sanctions restrictions became a new opportunity for the industry, since in 2023 the volume of orders only for the development of software for oil and gas amounted to 100 billion rubles.

Moreover, the companies have new directions of development related to renewables, since this sector needs petrochemical materials.

Dyukov recalled that oil and gas companies are currently engaged in the production of layer -water lithiums. In addition, it is possible to extract low -carbon hydrogen from methane, pumping back to the CO2 layer.
