Alexey Ovechkin Put in Charge of Gazprom Nedra
Alexey Ovechkin has been elected Director General of Gazprom Nedra.
Alexey Ovechkin was born in 1977. He graduated from Udmurt State University, majoring in Oil and Gas Field Development and Operation.
Between 1999 and 2009, he worked in various companies of the oil and gas industry, rising through the ranks from Assistant Well Survey Foreman to Deputy Director for Infrastructure Management and Operational Support – Chief Engineer.
He has been part of Gazprom’s team for 14 years.
2009–2012: Manager for Operations Support and Production Infrastructure, Head of Directorate (Chief Engineer), Head of Upstream Department at Gazprom Neft.
2012–2015: Director General, Gazpromneft-Orenburg.
2015: Director General, Gazpromneft-Muravlenko branch of Gazpromneft-NNG.
2015–2023: Executive Director and then Director General of Gazpromneft-Yamal.
2023: Adviser to the Administration Office of the Company Management at Gazprom Nedra.
