Arkady Dvorkovich Checked the Preparation of RAO / CIS Offshore 2015

Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich held a meeting on the preparation of the 12th International Conference and Exhibition on development of oil and gas resources of the Russian Arctic and continental shelf – RAO / CIS Offshore 2015 (15-18 September,St.petersburg).

The meeting was attended by Academician Alexei Kontorovich and Evgeny Velikhov, representatives of the federal authorities, trade unions and the largest Russian company – “Gazprom”, “Gazprom Neft”, “Lukoil”, “USC”, “Zarubezhneft” and others.

Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Kirill Molodtsov and Academician Alexei Kontorovich reported about the formation of the business agenda of the event. At this stage it was approved preliminary plan of the conference, which will include two plenary sessions, 10 round tables and the center of business contacts. Business program will accompany the exposition, where the energy, shipbuilding, machine-building enterprises will present their development.

The intensive business program, consisting of 10 thematic sessions will focus on the state of knowledge and resources of the Arctic continental shelf, the creation of a modern navy and marine equipment for the development of the resources of the Arctic and the continental shelf, the development of subsea technology, environmental and industrial safety.

Following the meeting, Arkady Dvorkovich expressed the hope for a successful event and encouraged companies to expand the the format of of their participation in the RAO / CIS Offshore 2015.
