Bashneft wins the IT-Leader Award for the third consecutive year
On April 19, 2013, the IX Annual National ‘IT-Leader – 2013’ Award ceremony was held in Moscow. Bashneft won the award for the third consecutive year. This year, the Company has won in the special category ‘For Achievements in Creating HP Converged Cloud’
In 2011-2012 Bashneft implemented a number of large-scale IT infrastructure projects aimed at making it possible to provide internal users with IT resources in the form of IaaS (‘infrastructure as a service’) and SaaS (‘software as a service’).
The private cloud based on converged infrastructure created at Bashneft has made it possible to provide users with full access to corporate and specialized services both at the Company’s head office and remotely in departments (including access from stationary and mobile client devices and thin clients).
