Belarusian Oilmen Set an Absolute Record in the Development of Unconventional Reservoirs
The record level was set on April 23 at the Rechitsa field, where the team worked for 33.1 days. According to the Center for Geological and Technological Support for Well Drilling at NGDU Rechitsaneft, well No. 446 was completed here.
“Its target object was a pack of intersalt productive deposits. The length of the horizontal section along the target interval was 1131 m. The actual depth of the well was 4002 m,” the company clarified.
A large team of different services worked to achieve this result: the Svetlogorsk Drilling Operations Department, the Cementing Department, the service department for directional drilling, the Department for Enhanced Oil Recovery and Well Repair, under the direct control of specialists from the Center for Geological and Technological Support of Well Drilling at NGDU Rechitsaneft.
The company also said that the previous record was recorded on March 9 this year. Then the SUBR team drilled Rechitskaya well No. 445 in 35.6 days. The target of the well was also 1 member – unconventional reservoir rocks of the Rechitsa field.
