  • Belorusneft and Gazprom Neft Subsidiaries Intend to Develop Cooperation

    A memorandum of cooperation was signed by representatives of Belorusneft and subsidiaries of Gazprom Neft PJSC, BelTA learned from the company.

    The delegation of Gazprom Neft PJSC got acquainted with the work of Belorusneft divisions during a three-day visit to the Gomel region. A memorandum of bilateral cooperation was signed today. The document was signed by company heads.

    For example, the parties discussed the possibilities of using the Digital Drilling Rig project, assessed the potential of the full well construction cycle, identifying reference points for optimizing the rigging work cycle, etc.

    The guests visited several wells of the Rechitsa oil field, where they were introduced to the methods used in the construction of wells with horizontal trunks in unconventional reservoirs, as well as during hydraulic fracturing. Russian and Belarusian specialists discussed issues of optimizing the full cycle of well construction at Belorusneft fields. The delegation also visited the Tamponing Department, Oil and Gas Production Department “Rechitsaneft”, UPC and the BelNIPIneft Institute.

    One of the points of visit was the BelNIPIneft Institute. Here, Russian colleagues got acquainted with the activities of the core research center, the reservoir physics sector, hydraulic fracturing laboratories, modeling studies, chemical support for oil production intensification and other facilities. And in the department for training, retraining and advanced training of personnel, guests from Russia were introduced to the international training center for well control, demonstrated the operation of a simulator, and told about new training programs successfully introduced this year. Management capabilities and advanced training methods aroused interest among representatives of the Russian delegation.

    The production association “Belorusneft” was created in 1966. The company searches, explores and develops oil fields, drills wells, produces oil and associated petroleum gas in Belarus, and works in the oil sector of other countries.
