  • Belorusneft Intends to Produce at Least Two Million Tons of Black Gold in 2025

According to the CEO, in 2024, production is expected to be at least 1 million 930 thousand tons. Already in JanuaryAugust, this figure amounted to 1 million 278 thousand tons plus the same period in 2023.

These are quite serious results for our region, they exceed the level planned for this period. The production structure consists of a rolling stock of wells, production is also carried out due to geological and technical measures, where we also have over-fulfillment of planned tasks. It is gratifying that there is a significant filling of the production balance for the wells commissioned in August judging by the results of geological and technical measures, they should exceed the planned values for the year. The figures for production from new wells and from side shafts will become record in recent decades, Alexander Lyakhov stressed, emphasizing that not only the reserve for 2025 has been created, but there are also good prospects for oil production until 2030.

As for 2025, the plans are increased.

We plan to produce at least two million tons of oil so much was extracted more than 30 years ago. What we are doing today in the field of geology, oil production technologies, and work with hard-to-recover reserves (their share in the balance sheet is growing) suggests that we will continue to go with the growth of oil production,” the CEO of Belorusneft summed up.

The Belorusneft Production Association was established in 1966. The company conducts prospecting, exploration and development of oil fields, drilling wells, production of oil and associated petroleum gas in Belarus, and works in the oil sector of other countries.
