Belorusneft Plans to Perform Almost 450 Hydraulic Fracturing Per Year
Belorusneft plans to carry out 447 hydraulic fracturing in 2023, BelTA learned from the company.
“The units are also suitable for an autonomous set of works for flushing wells, hydrosandblasting of the bottomhole zone, as well as pressure testing of tubing,” the company said. Such equipment can work in temperature conditions from minus 40 to plus 40 degrees.
The company already uses similar installations. “They have been tested at Belarusian facilities. The main difference between the new units is that they are mounted on four-axle special semi-trailers with improved maneuverability,” the company added.
According to experts, hydraulic fracturing technology is in demand, especially Plug & Perf, and is a key tool for geological and technical measures that Belorusneft uses to stimulate the flow of hydrocarbons. And an increase in the fleet of powerful machinery and innovative equipment will enable oil well workers to simultaneously and at the same time effectively and efficiently perform operations using the Plug&Perf technology at several prepared facilities.
The production association “Belorusneft” was founded in 1966. The enterprise conducts search, exploration and development of oil fields, drilling of wells, production of oil and associated petroleum gas in Belarus, works in the oil sector of other countries.
