“The technologies that we use today for the development of hard-to-recover reserves are mainly related to drilling long extended horizontal shafts (at least 2 km each horizontal well) and performing multi-volume hydraulic fracturing,“ said the Deputy General Director.
He also stressed that Belarus has a good balance of relations between the state and the subsoil user.
“Support in terms of the allocation of geological allotments, mining allotments, territories for prospecting and exploration – in this regard, our company always has a green light. In addition, it is necessary to note the positive decision of the head of state to change the regulatory and legal documentation on the allocation of land and reduce the timing of land allocation for the construction of exploration and production wells. This is a very important element. Because a long period of time passes from the stage of the idea to the implementation. By shortening the period of allocation of land for drilling wells, we accelerate the time for receiving products from wells,“ he concluded.
The Belorusneft Production Association was established in 1966. The company conducts prospecting, exploration and development of oil fields, drilling wells, production of oil and associated petroleum gas in Belarus, and works in the oil sector of other countries.
