Carbo Ceramics: CARBORosLite Used In Frac Jobs In Western Siberia

A major Russian Operator in Western Siberia pumped CARBO Ceramics’ new, Russian made light weight proppant CARBORosLite on a number of frac operations. The product is specially designed to target pressure sensitive formations like the “Ryabchek”, AB1 (1-2). Due to the unique low density of CARBORosLite, the gel and breaker concentration can be reduced, resulting in reduced formation damage and potentially creating larger fractures with higher production rates.
