Caspian Technical Conference and Exhibition 2017: Leading Oil and Gas Industry will Share their Experience
Senior executives and technical experts from the oil and gas industry in the Caspian region, have confirmed their participation in the leading regional technology conference this fall. Fourth Caspian Technical Conference and Exhibition of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) returns this year from 1 to 3 November in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The conference was organized with support of SOCAR, will be attended by professionals of the oil and gas industry, including representatives of international and national oil and gas companies, government agencies, service companies, universities, NGOs and other organizations from Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, in Europe, Asia and the USA.
At the conference, the theme of which this year is entitled “In search of profits”, will include three panel sessions, where participants discussed topical issues of exploration and production industry in Azerbaijan and the Caspian region as a whole, and to discuss ways to resolve them.
The following topics will be covered during the panel session: Modernization:how to accelerate the introduction and use of new technologies; Localization:the development of the higher education system and the supply of oil and gas in the region; as well as co-operation: how the stakeholders in the industry can maximize the value of the assets, applying innovative solutions.
Among the speakers will be representatives from the experts of SOCAR; SOCAR AQS; BP; TOTAL; ExxonMobil, DeGolyer and MacNaughton; Gazprom Neft NTC; PJSC Novatek; Dragon Oil; NC JSC KazMunaiGaz; TengizChevroil; Schlumberger; Halliburton; Baker Hughes, as well as from the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and others.
Along with the key sessions, the technical program of the conference consists of 12 technical sessions. A common theme for all the presentations based on research, will be to how modern tools, techniques and technology used in the Caspian region in response to the current cost-cutting.
