Cubility: MudCube Successfully Operating with Slavneft/BNGRE
In 2018, Cubility won the competitive tender process organized by Slavneft/BNGRE for new solids control equipment for their drilling rigs in the Eastern Siberia area, Russia.
Cubility are now happy to announce that we are in the final stages of deploying MudCubes onto the drilling rig fleet of Slavneft/BNGRE.
The order for the first 4 exploration rigs was placed by Slavneft in late 2018. Deployment started in the Kuyumbinskoye field early 2019 with the first rig starting drilling with the MudCube in March 2019.
Following the successful operation of MudCubes in the Kuyumbinskoye field, Slavneft/BNGRE have continued their MudCube deployment plan for the production drilling. Through the summer the MudCube will be in operation on 8 production drilling rigs.
Besides the apparent HSE benefits experienced by installing the MudCube, Slavneft/BNGRE have also documented considerable commercial gains from reduced mud consumption and less waste following the MudCube installation.
An important prerequisite for the successful deployment of MudCubes in Russia has been the establishment of Cubility Services in Moscow, where a growing staff of highly competent individuals now is able to provide first class support to the Russian MudCube operations on a 24/7 basis.
