  • Cumulative Gas Production at LUKOIL’s Fields in the Bolshekhetskaya Depression Exceeded 135 Billion Cubic MeterS

Cumulative gas production by LLC LUKOIL-Western Siberia (a 100% subsidiary of PJSC LUKOIL) at the fields of the Bolshekhetskaya depression in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District exceeded 135 billion cubic meters. m since the beginning of the development of the fields in the early 2000s. The cumulative production of oil and condensate has reached 10 million tons.

The Bolshekhetskaya depression is the basis of LUKOIL’s gas production in Russia. Eight deposits are located beyond the Arctic Circle. LUKOIL’s largest gas field, Nakhodkinskoye, was commissioned in 2005. At the unique Pyakyakhinskoye oil and gas condensate field, an oil field was put into operation in 2016, and a gas field was put into operation in early 2017. In 2019, pilot production of the Yuzhno-Messoyakhskoye field began, in 2020 – the Khalmerpayutinsky field, and in July 2021 – the Salekaptsky field.

The fields of the Bolshekhetskaya depression are at the active stage of development, development drilling and construction of production infrastructure are underway. The initial recoverable reserves of the fields of the Bolshekhetskaya depression are about 1 billion tons of standard fuel (1 tce = 1 ton of oil or 1 thousand m3 of gas).
