Digital Technologies Increase the Efficiency of Oil Production of Gazprom Neft in the Tomsk and Omsk Regions
Gazpromneft-Vostok launched a digital twin of the Urmano-Archinsky group of fields in the Tomsk region. The innovative system is one of the tools of the Production Control Center, which unites models of oil and gas infrastructure of the fields. Its launch will increase the production of hydrocarbons, improve the environmental friendliness of production and the level of useful use of associated petroleum gas.
An integrated digital twin * has been created for the fields of the Urmano-Archinsky group, which are distinguished by a high gas-oil ratio, combining models of reservoirs, wells and infrastructure facilities. It increases the efficiency of managing the production fund, oil gathering and treatment system, ensuring the maximum level of useful utilization of associated petroleum gas in the fields.
Today, the Gazpromneft-Vostok Production Control Center (MCC) monitors the operation of 49 well pads, over 500 wells and 5 hydrocarbon treatment facilities at 10 fields in the Tomsk and Omsk Regions ** around the clock. With the help of digital analytics and forecasting tools, engineers accompany the processes of production, bringing oil to market parameters and its transportation.
The operations of the Production Control Center are supported by a cross-functional team, including engineers, geologists, technologists and IT specialists. Digital systems improve the speed and quality of decision making, help eliminate waste and maximize production efficiency. In the future, as new assets are commissioned, control over their development will also be carried out from the MCC.
