Dmitry Peskov Rules Out Cutting Off Energy Supplies
If something is cut off in one place, an alternative route appears in another, Peskov said. According to him, Russia will look for options to minimize the consequences of sanctions
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, in response to new US sanctions against the oil sector, said that the routes “cannot be simply cut off,” an RBC correspondent reports.
According to him, Russia will look for options to minimize the consequences of sanctions. Peskov noted that in the modern world, the situation has repeatedly demonstrated that “natural energy supply routes cannot be simply cut off.”
“Something is cut off in one place, and an alternative option appears in another. Therefore, a search will be conducted for such work options that will minimize the consequences of sanctions,” he said.
