East-Siberian Oil and Gas Company: Produces 1 Millionth Ton at Yurubcheno Tokhomskoye
The East-Siberian Oil and Gas Company, a subsidiary of “Rosneft”, produced the millionth ton of oil since the beginning of the development of the Yurubcheno Tokhomskoye field – one of the largest in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
At the end of 2016, the field began outstripping the supply of oil in the main oil pipeline “Kuyumba-Taishet”. To overcome this a pressure pipeline with a capacity of up to 5 million tons of oil per year was built, 14 km to the main pipeline “Kuyumba-Taishet”. The pipeline required 77 objects of industrial construction, over 60 km of prefabricated pipeline, 56 km of transmission lines, about 78 km of roads. In addition, raw materials for temporary winter roads oil tankers delivered to consumers in the villages of North-Yenisey and Evenkia districts.
Since the beginning of the project 43 wells, including 33 producing wells have been constructed . Given the complex geological structure of the deposit, its development is carried out with the use of innovative solutions and best practices in oil and gas production. New technologies are designed to ensure high economic efficiency of the project, technological and environmental safety.
In 2017, the project pilot testing drilling technology to control bottomhole pressure at high field wells were drilled. This technology has reduced the drilling time of wells by 30% and eliminate the mud loss. The total flow rate exceeded the average for the bush wells by 4.5 times.
In search of optimal solutions for the efficient development of complex geological structure Yurubcheno- Tokhomskoye field was drilled first multilateral wells with initial oil production rate of about 200 tons per day. The depth of the trunk of an experimental three multilateral wells with sidetracks amounted to more than 4 thousand. Meters. Total excavation for productive horizon exceeded 1.5 thousand. Meters.
In addition to testing the latest technologies Drilling Company geologists raised its forecast for oil and gas deposits on Yurubcheno- Tokhomskoye field. Make it possible thanks to the creation of one of the most voluminous 3D geological models of deposits in the Krasnoyarsk Territory on the basis of seismic data over the past 20 years. This suggests the presence of new, previously unexplored oil and gas deposits in the central, southern and eastern parts of the field, as well as improve the accuracy of prediction of their properties.
Industrial supplies oil Yurubcheno Tokhomskoye field is scheduled to begin in 2017, when it will be put into operation.
