Eni Discovered New Gas Deposits in Libya
The Italian energy company Eni has discovered new gas deposits in Libya, according to the company’s press release.
“As a result of an exploration campaign launched in recent months, Eni has discovered two new gas fields in Libya,” the statement said.
It is noted that the company drilled two wells at two sites of the Bahr Essalam field. As a result of the work, gas volumes were preliminarily estimated at more than 1 trillion cubic feet. The produced gas will be supplied to the domestic market and also exported to Italy.
