Exterran Announces Grand Opening of Fort Worth Operations Services Center
Exterran celebrated the grand opening of its new Operations Services Center (OSC) in Fort Worth, Texas, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony today.
Located at 2100 Great Southwest Parkway, the Fort Worth site is being established by Houston-based Exterran as the first of multiple such sites to streamline customer field support processes for its North American operations.
“The OSCs are part of an innovative approach designed to modernize and simplify our operations. These innovations will enable Exterran to deliver fast and efficient service and enhance customers’ maintenance record accuracy for compliance with modified NESHAP Subpart ZZZZ requirements,” said Steve Abernathy, Vice President, QHSE and North America Operations. Exterran’s Fort Worth site also serves as the hub for its Barnett Business Unit and houses a large shop specializing in Aftermarket Services, including swing engines and repackaging of customer-owned compression.
“The launch of our Fort Worth OSC demonstrates the leadership role that Exterran is taking to help our customers analyze, prepare for and adapt to the NESHAP requirements that go into effect in October,” said Rob Rice, President, North America. “Our services help customers maintain compliance and allow us to experience even better equipment reliability, performance and run times, which, in turn, gives our customers improved compression services availability.”
In addition to providing NESHAP-compliant compression services, Exterran performs required maintenance and maintains required records, provides emissions-testing services and can assist with obtaining and updating air quality permits. Exterran operates one of the largest fleets of contract compression equipment in the world and is strategically adding technologies, products and services that provide complete solutions to surface production and processing needs.
