First Million Tons of Oil Produced at the Severo-Danilovskoye Field
Accumulated production at the Severo-Danilovskoye field, which is being developed by AngaraNeft, a joint venture between Rosneft and Equinor, amounted to 1 million tonnes.
The Severo-Danilovskoye field development project includes drilling more than 100 wells at ten well pads. The construction of a preliminary water discharge unit, a reservoir pressure maintenance system, its own generation center (gas turbine power plant) with a capacity of 31 MW, highways, an oil pipeline and other priority infrastructure facilities is also underway. Since the start of the project in 2016, more than 19 billion rubles have been invested in it.
By 2024, production at the field is planned at the level of up to 2 million tons of oil.
