  • From Concept to Technology: Gazprom Neft is Looking for Innovative Ideas for the Oil and Gas Industry

The accelerator of Gazprom Neft INDUSTRIX for the first time began the selection of technology startups at the idea stage. Previously, projects with a higher degree of elaboration and the presence of a prototype of the proposed solution were allowed to participate in the program. The finalists will be able to develop their initiatives to the level of a product, and will also have the opportunity to bring them to the market and replicate in the industry.

Developers from all over Russia are invited to participate in the accelerator, including students and graduate students of Russian universities. Even today Gazprom Neft experts are holding meetings with young specialists from the universities of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Tyumen, Kazan and Ufa. The authors of the most promising ideas will receive expert support from the company’s specialists, and will also be able to get acquainted with the best practices of technology entrepreneurs.

“The launch of the accelerator for student projects and university teams is a consistent step towards expanding our technology portfolio. The results of the first stream of INDUSTRIX showed that the sooner a business starts interacting with developers, the higher the chances are for the effective conversion of ideas into technologies, and scientific developments into applied projects.” – Alexey Vashkevich, Director for Technological Development, Gazprom Neft
