  • Gazprom and Belorusneft Began Discussing the Development of Hard-to-Recover Reserves

    The Gazprom delegation is headed by the company’s deputy chairman of the board, Oleg Aksyutin.

    The delegation of Gazprom PJSC and representatives of Belorusneft PA are discussing issues of cooperation in the field of “designing the development of hard-to-recover reserves.” The press service of the Belarusian company reported this.

    It is noted that the meeting is taking place in the area of well No. 472 of the Rechitsa field (Gomel region). The Gazprom delegation is headed by the company’s deputy chairman of the board, Oleg Aksyutin. The meeting with Russian colleagues is attended by the General Director of Belorusneft Alexander Lyakhov, his deputies for production and geology, and the management of the divisions of the Belarusian oil company.

    The work program plans to visit a number of Belorusneft production facilities.

    The State Production Association “Belorusneft” is a petrochemical company that carries out geological exploration, development, production and sales of oil and gas in Belarus, Russia and Venezuela, and also conducts exploration work in Ecuador. Belorusneft is under sanctions of the European Union. The Belorusneft company produced a record 1.87 million tons of oil in 2023.
