  • Gazprom and RusGazDobycha Set Up a Joint Venture in Yamal

Gazprom and RusGazDobycha have established a joint venture Gazprom Dobycha Tambei to develop the Tambeyskoye field in Yamal. This was reported in the gas holding’s Telegram channel.

The joint venture will develop and ensure the development of the Tambeyskoye field on the Yamal Peninsula with the start of gas production from 2026. Licenses for the use of the subsoil plots where the field is located will be transferred from Gazprom Nedra LLC to Gazprom Dobycha Tambei LLC in 2022.

Gas from the Tambeyskoye field is characterized by a high ethane content. Therefore, along with the fields of the Nadym-Pur-Taz region, it will become a raw material base for an ethane-containing gas processing complex near the Ust-Luga village of the Leningrad Region.
