Gazprom and TMK: Discuss the Development and Production of New High-Tech Pipe Products
A working meeting between Alexey Miller , Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Dmitry Pumpyansky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), took place in St. Petersburg today .
The parties discussed the development and production of new high-tech pipe products in the interests of Gazprom, as well as priority areas for the development of TMK’s activities after the incorporation of the assets of PJSC Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant (ChTPZ).
It was noted that the fruitful long-term cooperation between the companies and the focus on Gazprom’s high requirements for the quality and performance of pipes allowed TMK to form a production base that meets the best international standards.
The achieved technological level of the domestic pipe industry has already made it possible to fully meet the needs of Gazprom in many types of pipes for the creation of gas transmission systems and the development of fields in harsh natural and climatic conditions. When implementing promising projects, Gazprom is primarily aimed at using Russian-made products, including those that have no analogues in the world.
