Gazprom Dobycha Nadym Received the Right to Use the Subsoil of the East Kharasaveysky Block
The Federal Agency for Subsoil Use granted Gazprom dobycha Nadym a license to use the subsoil of the East Kharasaveysky block.
The document provides for geological study, exploration and mining of minerals in the promising territory of the Yamal Peninsula. The right to use was re-registered from PJSC Gazprom and will be valid until 2046.
The area of the East Kharasavey site is 3545.5 km2. It is located in the Yamal region not far from the Kharasaveyskoye field, which is to be operated by Gazprom Dobycha Nadym. There are no specially protected natural areas within the zone; one of its borders runs along the coastline of the Kara Sea.
