Gazprom Neft and the Tomsk Region are Expanding Cooperation in the Field of Import Substitution
Gazprom Neft and the Administration of the Tomsk Region signed an agreement to develop cooperation in the field of import substitution and technologies in oil production, as well as to increase the supply of high-tech lubricants and bitumen materials to the region. The document was signed by Alexander Dyukov, Chairman of the Gazprom Neft Management Committee, and Sergei Zhvachkin, Governor of the Tomsk Region, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The company is interested in purchasing high-tech industrial, scientific and technical products manufactured in the region, using IT products, as well as expanding the list of services provided by local enterprises. Over 8 years of joint work, the volume of purchases by the Gazprom Neft group of companies from producers of the Tomsk region has grown more than 20 times – from 900 million rubles in 2013 to almost 22 billion in 2020. Today, the pool of partners of the company includes 40 Tomsk enterprises supplying automation and telemechanics complexes, equipment for oil and gas production, building materials, chemical products, communication and communication facilities.
Gazprom Neft intends to expand the participation of scientific, innovative and educational organizations of the Tomsk Region in its projects for the development of new technologies, research and development work. The company’s production facilities will become sites for testing innovative solutions, equipment and materials.
The partners also agreed to continue cooperation, which began in 2016, on import substitution of lubricants and technical fluids. Over the past 5 years, Gazprom Neft has supplied over 2.2 thousand tons of high-tech oils to the enterprises of the Tomsk Region. Gazprom Neft’s products are in demand in passenger transportation, housing and communal services, and in the energy sector of the region.
In addition, the agreement provides for the expansion of the use of modern bituminous materials from Gazprom Neft in road and industrial construction. The company will increase the volume of supplies of innovative bitumen, the formulation of which is adapted to the climatic and transport conditions of the Tomsk region. Also, for the construction of various infrastructure facilities in the region, Gazprom Neft is ready to offer its own technologies for strengthening and stabilizing soils, as well as cold recycling *.
