  • Gazprom Neft Develops Projects Based on Long-term Risky Operator Agreements

    The Gazprom Neft Board of Directors reviewed information on the progress of the company’s projects under long-term risk operator agreements at the fields of PJSC Gazprom and the tasks for their implementation in  2021-2022.

    Development of oil rims, Neocomian-Jurassic gas and gas condensate deposits, licensed by Gazprom and its subsidiaries – Pestsovoye, En-Yakhinskoye, Zapadno-Tarkosalinskoye, Chayandinskoye, Yamburgskoye, Orenburgskoye, Urengoyskoye, Bovansaveyskoye and leads Gazpromneft-Zapolyarye, a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft. The Company uses a mechanism of long-term risk operator contracts for the development of oil and gas condensate deposits at Gazprom’s fields on terms similar to its own license ownership. At the same time, Gazprom Neft independently finances geological exploration and construction of infrastructure facilities, consolidating reserves and production, as well as the financial result from the implementation of these projects.

    In 2020, Gazprom Neft invested 32.2 billion rubles in the implementation of projects under long-term high-risk operator contracts – 2.4 times more than in 2019. Drilling of wells began as part of pilot work at the Urengoyskoye, Kharasaveyskoye and Bovanenkovskoye fields, the construction of infrastructure facilities at the Pestsovoye, En-Yakhinskoye and Chayandinskoye oil and gas condensate fields (NGKM), the delivery of oil from the Chayandinskoye field to the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean mainline system.

    The program for  2021-2022 provides for the launch of full-scale development of oil rims of the Chayandinskoye, Pestsovoye and En-Yakhinskoye, Zapadno-Tarkosalinskoye and Orenburgskoye fields. Pilot work will also be continued at the Achimov deposits of the Urengoyskoye oil and gas condensate field, the Neocomian-Jurassic deposits of the Kharasaveyskoye and Bovanenkovskoye fields.
