Gazprom Neft Expands Cooperation with the Talent and Success Fund
Gazprom Neft entered into an agreement on cooperation in research and educational activities with the Talent and Success Foundation. The document was signed by Alexander Dyukov, Chairman of the Gazprom Neft Management Committee, and Elena Shmeleva, Head of the Talent and Success Foundation, during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The Gazprom Neft representative office in Russia’s first federal territory, Sirius, will allow joint research with the University of Science and Technology of the same name and other residents of the city of science. In addition, Gazprom Neft will participate in educational programs at Sirius University to train personnel in the field of technological, digital and operational transformation and business diversification.
The cooperation program between Gazprom Neft and the Talent and Success Foundation envisages the creation of joint technology laboratories for cybersecurity, robotization, the formation of a unified system for conducting research in the field of artificial intelligence, 3D printing, quantum computing, unmanned aerial vehicles and other end-to-end technologies. One of the most important tasks of the new partnership will also be the implementation of digital transformation projects in the energy sector.

Employees of Gazprom Neft regularly act as experts on educational programs at the Sirius Center; for two years in a row, the Science City has hosted the finals of our Intellectual Tournament for High School Students Multiplying Talents. I am confident that the company’s new science and technology division in Sirius will become a center of attraction for talents, partners and interesting ideas, ”stressed Alexander Dyukov, Chairman of the Gazprom Neft Management Board .

The Educational Foundation “Talent and Success” was established by prominent figures in science, art and sports in 2014 by the decision of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, who headed its Board of Trustees. In 2015, the Foundation opened the Sirius Educational Center, the purpose of which is the early identification, development and further professional support of children who have shown outstanding abilities in the field of art, sports, natural sciences and technical creativity. Since 2019, an Innovative Science and Technology Center and a University of Science and Technology have been operating in the Sirius ecosystem, offering short-term intensive modules, as well as graduate and postgraduate programs. The Intellectual Tournament “Multiplying Talents” is an educational project for schoolchildren of grades 8-11, which “Hometowns” – the company’s social investment program – has been running since 2015. Schoolchildren offer their own design solutions for assignments developed by experts from Gazprom Neft and the Sirius Lyceum. The design directions reflect the current R&D agenda of the oil industry. For 6 years, more than 13 thousand schoolchildren from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Tyumen, Noyabrsk, Muravlenko, Khanty-Mansiysk, Tomsk, Omsk, Orenburg, as well as from the village of Tazovsky and the Yamal villages of Cape Kamenny and Novy Port have become participants in Multiplying Talents. Final of tournaments 2020 and 2021 took place on the basis of the Park of Science and Art “Sirius”.
