Gazprom Neft Has Implemented Startup Technology From the INDUSTRIX Accelerator Into Production
The technology of one of the graduates of the corporate accelerator of projects in the field of exploration and production INDUSTRIX has been successfully implemented at the assets of Gazprom Neft in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. It allows you to calculate the reserves of “difficult” oil with high accuracy. This is the first technology from the INDUSTRIX accelerator, which will be replicated at the company’s facilities.
The development includes equipment and a special technique for studying deposits with hard-to-recover reserves. The project allows to analyze not only the water content in the rock, but also its chemical composition. Using this information, specialists determine the presence of oil, its quantity and create an accurate model of the field. According to preliminary estimates, the development will save up to 60 million rubles on the construction of each exploration well.
Gazprom Neft supports small and medium-sized businesses and develops innovative technologies for hydrocarbon production through its own INDUSTRIX acceleration program. The selected startup is one of more than 500 participants in the first stream of the accelerator, in which only 12 companies became finalists. A four-month educational program was developed for them, including intensive courses in project management, consultations with experts and master classes. During the year, the projects were supervised by internal trainers, specialists from Gazprom Neft, who helped turn the idea into a full-fledged product.
