Gazprom Neft has published its consolidated condensed interim financial statements for the first quarter of 2025, prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Despite macroeconomic headwinds, inflationary pressure, and an increase in the tax burden, the company achieved strong operational performance during the reporting period.
Revenue for Q1 2025 amounted to 890.9 billion Russian rubles.
Adjusted EBITDA stood at 272 billion rubles.
Net profit attributable to shareholders of Gazprom Neft totaled 92.6 billion rubles.
Hydrocarbon production for the quarter reached 32.5 million tonnes of oil equivalent (toe), representing a 5.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Oil refining volume reached 10.6 million tonnes, showing a 1.8% year-on-year growth.
In 2025, Gazprom Neft continued to expand its resource base and advance production technologies. At the Lugovoye field in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, the company discovered a large deposit of high-quality crude oil. The inflow from the first well was 400 tonnes per day, significantly exceeding the industry average. Geological reserves are estimated to exceed 3 million tonnes. The exploration of new reserves at existing fields forms part of Gazprom Neft’s program for re-evaluating mature assets, employing modern horizontal drilling techniquesand domestically developed digital geoscience tools.
In the same quarter, Gazprom Neft also launched industrial production of human-safe white oils based entirely on domestically sourced components. Owing to their chemical and biological neutrality, these lubricants are widely used in the food industry, cosmetology, medicine, and pharmaceuticals.
Significant progress was also made in the area of sustainable development. At the Omsk Refinery, the company completed the development and testing of automated air quality monitoring technologies. The tools, created in partnership with the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources (Rosprirodnadzor), have formed the foundation for establishing industry standards and the creation of unified regulatory guidelines.
Despite challenging economic conditions, Gazprom Neft’s strong operational performance helped it maintain stability in the first quarter of 2025.
