  • Gazprom Neft is Creating New Public Spaces in the Orenburg Region

Gazprom Neft and the government of the Orenburg Region have entered into a three-year agreement on social and economic partnership. The document defines the main principles and directions of cooperation in the interests of the development of the region. The agreement fixes socially significant projects that will be implemented with the participation of the company.

Over the years of cooperation with the region, as part of the Native Towns social investment program, Gazprom Neft has implemented about 500 socially significant projects, including those initiated by local residents. In 2023, the company will continue to support talented youth and the initiatives of Orenburg residents aimed at improving the quality of life in the region. Gazprom Neft will allocate funds for the modernization of fire protection and water supply systems in the Novosergievsky district, as well as for the renovation of houses and centers of culture and creativity in the Perevolotsky and Orenburg districts of the region.

Over the past years, the company has been creating new creative spaces in the region. In 2022, as part of the Native Museums project, the renovated Essen courtyard of the Governor’s Local History Museum was opened in Orenburg. A modern venue with a cafe, a cinema hall, areas for exhibitions and concerts has become a favorite vacation spot for Orenburg residents. In 2023, Gazprom Neft will continue to develop this space, as well as improve a park in the village of Pretoria in the Perevolotsky District and the Park of Memory in the village of Blaslovenka in the Orenburg District.
