  • Gazprom Neft Will Support Russian Projects to Develop the Electric Transport Industry

Gazprom Neft is launching an acceleration program for Russian developers in the field of electromobility. As part of the fifth StartupDrive accelerator, promising domestic technologies and projects to develop infrastructure, improve the charging process and operation of electric vehicles will be supported.

Accelerator participants will have access to the infrastructure of the Gazpromneft filling station network and IT developments of the company and its partners, as well as technical assistance and expert advice from industry professionals. Thanks to StartupDrive’s partnership with the Internet Initiatives Development Foundation (IIDF), the contestants will form a roadmap for the further implementation and integration of projects.

As a result of acceleration, startups will be able to refine their solutions, test hypotheses and create new products for the electric transport market.

“We see the growing interest of customers of the Gazprom Neft filling station network in electric transport and electric charging infrastructure. Last year, the company began equipping its filling stations with ultra-high-speed charging stations for electric vehicles. For the further development of the electric transport infrastructure, we are also building cooperation with Russian developers of technologies, innovative and software solutions. Our accelerator enables creators of ideas to quickly develop and commercialize their projects in the field of electric transport and scale their business. I am sure that together we will be able to achieve a qualitative development of the new industry” – Dmitry Shepelsky – Regional Sales Director, Gazprom Neft

StartupDrive is Gazprom Neft’s annual accelerator program to support developers. Every third project that has taken part in the accelerator over the past five years has been integrated into the ecosystem of the Gazpromneft filling station network.
