“GAZPROMNEFT-THE EAST” IS DEVELOPING GAS TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE ASSETS
“Gazpromneft-Vostok” has started the construction of the pipeline, which will send the associated gas from the booster pump station of Archinskoye field on daimou compressor station Urmanskoye field in the Tomsk region. The design capacity of the 18-kilometer gas pipeline will be 250 million m3 of gas per year.
The construction of the gas pipeline is part of a large-scale investment project aimed at achieving a 95% level of useful use of associated petroleum gas of the Urman-Archa group of fields and assets of the Yuzhno-Pudinsky license area* “Gazpromneft-East”. The total investment in the project will be about 6.9 billion rubles. Produced in these gas assets will be allocated to the installation of complex preparation of gas and condensate (Ypgyk) multinskogo oil and gas condensate field of OJSC “Tomskgazprom”.
The 18-kilometer gas pipeline will become part of a promising gas and energy hub with its generating and gas transportation capacities. In parallel, within the framework of the General project, a booster compressor station (DKC) and a vacuum compressor station (VKS) of the Urman field, a 97-kilometer high-pressure gas pipeline between the Urman and Shingin fields, as well as the VKS of the Archin field will also be built. The design capacity of the entire gas infrastructure will be 500 million m3 of gas per year.
Completion of works and commissioning of facilities are scheduled for the end of 2019. From 2020, it is planned to start using the gas transportation system for commercial gas sales.
To date, within the framework of the General investment project “Gazpromneft-East”, the construction of the linear part of the 97-kilometer high-pressure gas pipeline has been completed, three compressor units, a complete transformer substation and a number of other auxiliary facilities of the DKC of the Urman field have been installed.
“Construction of the pipeline between the Urmanskoye and Archinskoye fields is one of the key stages of a large-scale project on development of gas infrastructure assets “Gazpromneft-the East”. The completion of the work on the entire project will ensure a high level of rational use of associated petroleum gas, which we will be able to flexibly direct not only for our own needs, but also for commercial implementation,” said Konstantin Karabazdak, General Director of Gazpromneft — East.
