GE Launch Adressable Downhole Release Tool

The Addressable Downhole Release tool enables the wireline to be detached on command in the event that tools become stuck downhole. Once unlatched a standard fish neck allows the detached tools to be fished easily.

ADR and ADRP

The ADR reduces the risk of the wireline becoming stuck in the hole and allows continuous function of the tools above the ADR after release. The ADR can be fully function checked at wellsite, and incorporates fail-safe logic to prevent accidental release.

The ADR has been designed to withstand ballistic shock and is compatible with the Addressable Downhole Switch (ADS) for safe ballistic operations.

Follow this link to download the product specifications for the Addressable Downhole Release (ADR) and Panel (ADRP).

• Full pre-job function check (including latch/unlatch) recommended at wellsite
• Main tool body and electronics retrieved, leaving only the fishing neck downhole
• Qualified for Shock and Vibration
• Feed-through conductor rated for high voltages and currents
