GGE: An Oil Pumping Station With a Tank Farm Will be Reconstructed at the ESPO-II Section
Transneft continues to develop the capacity of the second stage of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean trunk system. The reconstruction of the oil pumping station NPS-34 with a tank farm will be carried out at the site Skovorodino – Spetsmornefteport Kozmino. The project documentation and the results of engineering surveys received a positive conclusion from the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia.
The main oil pipeline “Eastern Siberia – the Pacific Ocean” provides transportation of oil from the fields of Eastern Siberia to Russian refineries and for export to China and the Asia-Pacific countries. The second phase of the ESPO oil pipeline, from the Skovorodino pumping station to the Kozmino port, was brought to a design capacity of 50 million tons per year in 2019.
During the reconstruction of PS No. 34 ESPO-II, it is planned to build two steel vertical tanks with a floating roof (RVSPK), with a capacity of 50,000 cubic meters each. m each. The facilities being designed are designed to receive, store, measure the volume and pump out oil. “ Design solutions for the tank farm and oil pumping equipment take into account increased seismicity and special climatic conditions for the operation of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean-II oil pipeline system , ” said Shamil Saitov, Head of the Comprehensive Expertise Department of the Siberian Branch of the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia.
The work will be carried out in the Khabarovsk district of the Khabarovsk Territory, at the production site of PS No. 34 of the Dalnerechensk regional oil pipeline department. The project also provides for the construction of an access road with its removal from the area of the planned construction of the tank farm.
