Growing sponsor interest boosts MIOGE and RPGC in 2011

The 11th biennial Moscow International Oil & Gas Exhibition (MIOGE) will take place this year on 21-24 June at Expocentre in Russia. The exhibition is co-located with the 9th Russian Petroleum Gas Congress (RPGC) which takes place at the same venue on 21-23 June.

The events are supported by 48 sponsors, 21% more than when RPGC and MIOGE were last co-located in 2009. New sponsors include GE Oil & Gas, Bachneft, Ghazanfar Group, Inmarsat and Embraer. Schlumberger are one of the best known companies who are returning to sponsor the event in 2011.

ITE’s Head of Oil & Gas Events, Mr Graeme Coombes said. “One of the most promising indicators surrounding the level of interest in the Russian oil and gas sector is the growing number of sponsors at this year’s event. With almost 50 sponsors this year, including many first-time sponsors, it is clear to see that the participants and MIOGE and RPGC represent an influential and valuable target market for a range of companies”.
